The Flowing Hair Dollar is one of the rarest coins of U.S. coins provided that it has only been minted for a year and its scarcity. A few of these Silver Dollars embody a silver plug in the center. It is believed that the plugs were used for underweight planchets in order to make them weigh properly by inserting a silver plug into the center of the blank after drilling a hole into it.This particular specimen boasts the central silver plug, making it a solid representative in all regards and is as such highly coveted.
