  • Condition: Handsome, vintage radiator cover salvaged from a recently demolished, 1889 Victorian home in Scranton, PA (see last photo). It's made of steel and is painted white. The top lifts off.Although the home that it came from was 130+ years old, this cover was most likely made during the first half of the previous century. We wiped the piece with a dry paper towel prior to taking photos, and what you see in the photos are stains and spots of missing paint. The cabinet would look beautiful after a good sanding and a fresh coat of paint. The cabinet is in great structural condition with only the typical nicks, scratches, and small dents that you would expect to find on an old piece of furniture. There no breaks, cracks, gouges, or large dents.The only flaw to point out is that one of the bolts from the front cover is missing.     * Please note that we plan on shipping the cover disassembled in 6 pieces. Not only will this save us a significant amount of money to ship the piece, but it will keep it safe in transit. Big, hollow items are easy to crush and bend, but narrow, flat items are much harder to damage. To reassemble, you'll need a flathead screw driver and a small wrench or an adjustable wrench.
