    Description

The Stamp Act of 1765 (short title Duties in American Colonies Act 1765; 5 George III, c.) was an Act of the Parliament of Great Britain that imposed a direct tax on the Thirteen Colonies and required that many printed materials in the colonies be produced on stamped paper produced in London, carrying an embossed revenue stamp. Printed materials included legal documents, magazines, playing cards, newspapers, and many other types of paper used throughout the colonies. Like previous taxes, the stamp tax had to be paid in valid British currency, not in colonial paper money. You will only get a pair of Original dice that are stamped & then died in red ink to prove that taxes had been paid on these Bone Dice ( always marked on the side with the 6 dots) marked with a red crown over a large "GR"( for King George the 3rd) like the ones pictured. The size is about 3/8 inch square ( Hand cut so size varies) you'll receive a pair like the ones pictured, all are in great shape . Some are heavily stamped and some are lightly stamped. These would be a great addition to a American liberty collection. Please check out our fantastic and rare items we have up for sale in this auction on E-Bay this week!
