• 1 diamond pen: Drill pens are pen-shaped instruments that are dipped into the wax pad and then onto the drills to place them on the canvas.
They have hollow ends that you fill with wax / glue and this allows you to pick the diamonds with little to no effort, and stick them gently in place.
• 1 grooved tray
• 1 wax (dip the tip of the diamond pen into the wax and get started).
Not included: Frame. Organizer.
🌈Diamond Painting Step by Step Instructions:
1. Have an organizer box ready so you can store the diamonds and tools. It will prevent the diamonds from missing or swallowed by children or pets.
2. Find a clean working table so you can unroll the canvas on a smooth flat surface.
3. Match diamonds to the corresponding symbols. You will notice that printed directly on canvas is a chart with your diamonds that are labeled with a number that corresponds to a symbol. You will need to match the corresponding color of diamonds to the symbols and place them on the canvas accordingly.
4. Scatter a small amount of diamonds ( needs to be the same shape and
color) in the grooved tray. Shake the tray back and forth at a slight angle so the flat side of the diamonds is face down and the faced (beautiful ) side face up. The flat side will be stuck to the canvas afterward. The face-side will be picked up by the pen.
5. Peel off the film on the wax. Dip the tip of the pen to the wax from the edge to fill the pen with wax.
6. Peel back a small section of the protection film on the canvas to work on at one time. It is best and easiest to work on a small section at a time.
Please do NOT remove the protection film on the canvas completely in the beginning because the sticky surface on the canvas will be dirty and it won’t be sticky to keep the diamonds in place. The diamonds will fall. After you are done with an area and move on to the next area, please remove the protection film gradually.
7. Dip the pen that has wax onto one of the drills(rhinestones) on the grooved tray to pick up the diamonds. Place the diamonds flat side down.
Carefully press the diamonds onto the corresponding symbol on the canvas
8. Always remember to add a little bit more wax if the pen seems like it doesn't pick up the diamonds anymore.
9. Repeat the process until you are done!
10. Use some heavy books or rolling pin (you can probably find one in your kitchen) to press the canvas when all the drills( rhinestones) are on the canvas. It helps to secure the drills.
11. The experience is fulfilling and you will be able to showcase your work by framing your finished project and it will become beautiful wall art.
