Gruen Airflight watch case dial + hands mint unused lot b199

Description

This is a  vintage
Gruen Airflight case with dial and hands.
It is stainless steel.
It measures 40mm wide.
It is near mint and unused.
There is no movement.
Some call these dummy watches or sample watches.
Others say that these were sent to dealers for quick recasing of the customers watch.
Either way, this is your chance to step into a time machine and get a mint Airflight, you just need the correct movement.
It takes a 510 RSS , but it is a modified movement to make the hours jump.
They did not give the modified movement it's own designation.
I have no other parts from this watch, just what is shown.
The hands are attached to arbors, they are not glued on.
There are no extra parts under the dial except the plate that would hold the extra parts.
You cannot assemble this without a complete movement.
You cannot alter a calender movement to use in these cases, it will not work.
I have sold many of these and each has been assembled by the buyer.
None have been returned, everyone has been pleased with them.
If you have the correct movement or a complete watch in poor condition, this will be
a great way to upgrade it to a minty watch.
