    : “
This is an authentic antique gun powder horn or flask. This was part of my late parents antique collection that lasted for more than 50 years. My father was an avid collector of Indian, Civil War and pre 1800 period items. This horn has been used but overall in good condition for its age. The cap and plug is hand carved. The leather strap also shows age with old wire helping to keep it secure. I have taken close up photos so that you can get more of a visual description. This is truly a great part of history. The horn itself measures 9"
The cap and plug included is 10.5".

Please see photos for more description and condition. All items sold "as is" and as described. These artifacts are old and have been used so expect wear and age defects unless noted otherwise. No returns unless description/photographs totally misrepresent item/s.

the grand kids have told me that they have no interest in any of the collections in the family’s traveling museum-- MOCAPA. A bit disappointing to hear but well understood in the 21st century. Plus, for me, collecting lacks the attraction that it had in years past as well as the steward collectors. Thanks, joe
