Hamilton Model 22 Chronometer Movement holder

Description

Offering a custom aluminum movement holder for servicing the Hamilton 22 Chronometer.  Movement shown is not included in the sale.  There's nothing official, antique or Hamiltonian about these, as I make them.
I produced one years ago and have used it to service many 22's.  I thought maybe others could use one too as I've not seen them sold.   It's a big movement compared to most.
Never seen the official Hamilton ones ever.
It's designed to hold the movement either way around.  Dial Up, the main plate drops into the ring and the thumbscrew secures it in position.  In this orientation it provides access to the hand setting security pusher,  the three dial foot screws, with a register for the little polarity pip.  Dial down, the same thumbscrew can go deeper into the ring which brings the sliding bracket against the dial edge and secures it.  This was an upgrade from my original Mk1 version, suggested by a user.   * * Although it holds the movement quite securely, don't take it as a challenge as if you go nuts and try to knock it out it will no doubt break free !
I make no attempt at any fancy finishing, just de-burring and ultrasonic degrease.   The exterior surface is the rolled mill finish and may have production dings and scuff marks, although I do brush it with Scotchbrite.  These are offered as a tool not a museum piece, and time (as you know) is money.  You just want functionality and based on some low ball offers, as cheap as possible !
** Update March '21.  Recently I was asked if I could manufacture one in brass, but when I priced the material it didn't fit their budget. It got me thinking though, that it might be interesting to try so I did and I've added pictures.  This listing is still
