NEW WHARF POTTERY ENGLAND WATTEAU PATTERN FLOW BLUE SCALLOPED EMBOSSED 9" LUNCHEON PLATE 1891-1896
This plate is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks. NOTE: This has natural crazing and some light scratches you can sometimes notice when the light reflects off of them. Very Nice New Wharf Pottery Flow Blue Luncheon Plate in the 'Watteau' pattern. There is a continuous ornate heart-shaped blue pattern around the rim with a darker blue on the outer rim. The center of the plate depicts a man, a woman with a mandolin, and a dog having a picnic under trees in a garden on a white base. On the base of the plate is the mark 'Watteau, NWPC, England'.
