The hitch step fits into a 2" Class III or IV vehicle receiver and does not require a hitch pin to hold it in place. Dogs weighing up to 200 lbs can then enter the vehicle's rear cargo hatch area or pickup truck bed by stepping onto an extra step, minimizing the chance of joint injuries, instead of trying to complete the entire distance at once. Features an 18" x 16" high traction, paw-friendly, platform surface which is lightweight and portable. The size is compact enough for vehicle storage to always have a handy step around when needed. Works with 1-1/4" hitch adapters for use with Class I or II receivers; the 1-1/4" hitch adapter is sold separately.
