Revolutionary War Era Powder Horn with Owners Initials

Nice Original Early Powder Horn with Owners Initials. Another premium horn from an elderly gentleman's private collection.
This horn measures 8.5" in length with minimal twist. The color is a translucent olive body with dark olive brown at the spout.
The plug is flat, carved from spruce, and measures a little over 2" in diameter. It is attached to the horn with small iron nails. The top of the plug has the owners initials "PL" carved into it. There is no sign of a strap attachment indicating this horn was carried in a hunting bag.
The spout is traditionally carved and has the original plug to seal the end.
This is a fine example of an early signed horn.
