    Description

    Offered in this 7-day auction is a c.1750-1770 Horn Scoop. Thick bodied horn scoop in very good condition. Attractive  "Queen Anne" style handle. All 1-piece carved scoop in good length and no chips or through cracks.  Some age lines, but not damaged.  Great coloring throughout.  There is a nice reference for scoops, which were pretty utilitarian in use, in Neumann & Kravic's,
    Collector's Illustrated Encyclopedia of the American Revolution
