Offered in this 7-day auction is a c.1770-1790 pair of Drum Sticks. Lignum Vitae drum sticks in very good overall condition with two concentric circles at bottom. Lignum Vitae was a material sourced in the Caribbean and popularly used for various wares and utilitarian items in England, America, and Europe due to its remarkable strength and density. Similar drum sticks can been seen photo referenced in Neumann & Kravic's,Collector's Illustrated Encyclopedia of the American Revolution
