SEIKO SKX Diver's Watch NH36 Movement Caliber Upgrade.Description:
While being a great all-around watch, the Seiko SKX diver's watch has a few downsides that date it.
1. The stock 7S26 movement does not hack (second hand stops when crown is pulled out to set.
2. Stock 7S26 movement does not have the ability to be hand-wound.
This service completely replaces the original 7S26 movement with an original OEM Seiko NH36 movement with hand-winding and hacking! This completely updates the SKX watch into a great every-day piece with all the modern features you could want.
Procedure:
In this swap, the movement will be swapped with a regulated NH36 movement (original dial and hands retained) and the crown will be replaced with either a polished and signed "S" crown (see second picture), triple gaskets for even better water resistance from the original. Stem is custom-cut for each individual watch and installed onto the crown for a perfect fit!
Watch is then pressure tested to make sure it's water resistant and sent back!
Shipping:
Shipping cost covers shipping back to you, you will have to provide shipping to me. Please message me before you order and I'll provide more details. I'm located in the USA so no expensive international shipping for US-residents!
Warranty:
As I'm extremely confident about my work, I provide a 30-day (from when you receive the watch) workmanship warranty (warranty does not cover water damage, mechanical damage from opening the watch, or physical damage done to the watch).
Other services:
If your caseback gasket is compromised I will have to charge an additional to replace. All gaskets (new and used) are lubricated with silicon for increased water-resistance.
If you want any other modifications done (bezel / hand / dial / date wheel / caseback swap / etc.) please message me and I can provide service for them at an increased cost (whether you source parts or I have to.
Any questions please ask!
