    Vintage 1972 Wooden Crate Royal Crown Cola RC Nehi Diet Rite Red Print Chicago
    Crate is a Durabilt by Owens-Illinois Glass Company Dated 8-72
    All around the wood is in good condition but parts of it have been exposed to moisture at some point that caused staining and discoloration. The bottom, one short side and one long side were mostly affected. Mostly surface damage with no rotting or wood loss.
    The metal banding is in fully intact but also subjected to the moisture which caused oxidation.
    There have been two pieces of wood added to the short sides. I was informed by the individual that I picked it from that the reason is because his Mother used it under the Christmas tree to tier the presents and this added a little height for that purpose.
